Do I need to sign a contract to work with Simcast?
No. Cases can be submitted on a per-case basis and there is no contract required.
Do you accept digital case submissions?
Yes. Digital files can be uploaded using WeTransfer service. We accept STL, OBJ, PLY and DCM files for digital submissions. If you are unsure about compatibility with your scanner or design software, please contact the laboratory.
Do you provide trial frameworks?
Yes. Plastic trial frameworks can be produced on request if you would like to check fit before the final cobalt chrome framework is manufactured.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. Laboratories can send individual cases or larger volumes. There is no minimum order requirement.
Do you work with laboratories across the UK?
Yes. Dental laboratories across the UK can send cases to Simcast. Digital files can be submitted online, or physical models can be posted to the laboratory in Christchurch.
Do you guarantee the fit of the framework?
Yes. All frameworks are guaranteed to fit the model or digital scan supplied with the case.
What happens if the framework does not fit?
All frameworks are guaranteed to fit the model or digital scan supplied. If there is an issue we will adjust or remake the framework as required.
