Most types of denture damage can be repaired at the laboratory, depending on the extent of the fracture and the condition of the denture.
If your denture has cracked or broken, bring all the pieces to the laboratory and our technicians will assess the damage and advise on the most suitable repair.
Many simple fractures can be repaired the same day when dentures are brought to the laboratory early in the day. Where needed, we can reinforce the repair to improve strength and durability.
Artificial teeth that have broken or become detached can be replaced. We match the shade and size of the existing teeth as closely as possible to maintain the appearance of your denture.
If several teeth are damaged or missing, we can also assess the overall condition of the denture and advise whether further repair or adjustment may be beneficial.
A denture that has become loose over time may need relining. As the gum ridge changes shape following tooth loss, the denture gradually stops fitting the underlying tissue.
Relining adds new acrylic to the fitting surface to restore contact with the current ridge shape. A rebase replaces the entire acrylic base while keeping the existing teeth.
Simple fractures can usually be repaired the same day if you bring the denture in the morning.

No. Household adhesives rarely hold properly and can make a professional repair more difficult. It is best to bring the denture directly to the laboratory.
Do you offer a postal denture repair service?
Yes. Dentures can be sent to the laboratory using our postal repair service. A postage label can be downloaded from here.
Will the repair last?
A properly repaired denture is durable and suitable for normal use. If the denture has fractured repeatedly, we may recommend adding a metal strengthener.
